The Barn — Ardara: Stunning converted barn with sumptuous wooden floors throughout and original wooden ceiling beams located in the heritage town of Ardara in Co. Donegal. With the silky white sands and clear water of Portnoo beach with its 18 hole Links Golf Course, one of Irelands best golf courses, near by. Historic Building

The Barn dating back some two hundred years has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard and has had a beautiful bright and airy vaulted ceiling extension added. It keeps its original charm with solid oak wooden floors throughout and retains its original wooden ceiling beams.

One can soak in the cast iron roll-top bath by candlelight or luxuriate with a glass of champagne in front of the large open fire in the Barn living room. A truly unique holiday experience awaits you in this charming Barn.


The Barn is situated in the picturesque heritage village of Ardara in Co. Donegal, nestled in the Donegal hills and surrounded by many beautiful expansive beaches with clear water for enjoying the many water sport amenities available like deep sea diving.

It is a ten minute drive to one of Irelands best Links Golf Course, the Narin/Portnoo Links 18 Hole Golf Course and enjoys having the famous Nancys Bar, known for its fresh local seafood and a great pint of Guinness to accompany the live music on its doorstep.

The living room is a stunning room with arched original wooden beams and a solid oak wooden floor. A large fireplace dominates the room so you can relax with your evening drink in front of an open log fire. Also has SKY TV.

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with wooden floors and ensuite with an original roll-top bath to luxuriate in on first floor.

Bedroom 2: Two single bed large bedroom on ground floor with ensuite power shower, walk in wardrobe and chaise longue to read and relax on.
